College Recommendation Letter?
Question:
I am transferring from one college to a university and wanted to send in some teacher recommendation letters along with the applications. The letters aren't required but i would like to attach them to it.
My question is that what should they write in the letter. My math teacher wants to know the specs of what the colleges require? I tried looking for these specifications online but couldn't find them. Can some one please tell me what are somethings that i can tell my math teacher to write about in the recommendation letter.

If this applies to you, your math instructor can talk about your dedication and determination to perform well on your exams. Talk about your willingness to seek help when needed and to improve in areas you recognize as lacking in. Maybe, you also are willing to help others in your class as well.
Math is difficult because interaction seems more limited than would be in other types of courses.
There are three things that should be included in every recommendation letter:
A paragraph or sentence explaining how you know the person you are writing about and the nature of your relationship with them.
An honest evaluation of the person's skills and accomplishments. Try to include specific examples.
A statement or summary that explains why you would recommend
I just did this for one of my students. I told them the student had gotten good grades, referred to her GPA (which she gave me), mentioned how she always did her work in a timely fashion, which can be difficult in online classes, and ended that she would be an excellent addition to their school, which I named.
if the letter isn't required, they most likely don't have specific requirements for a letter. some colleges may put on their application web page about what they want teachers to write. but it will usually be under the application or admissions page. remember to look for the transfer application form, and transfer admissions web page. they will usually have different requirements than other applicants including those for Letters of Recommendation.
your teacher can write about the highlights of you as a student. like your work ethic, grades, personality in class, etc.
Some questions your teacher can respond to:
What are the highlights of this student? What does he/she bring to my class? Depending on what program you want to transfer into (example: Education Program), your teacher can say why he/she think you make a good attribute to the program.
