Has anyone attended the Utah Career College?

Question:

I am trying to find out if the Utah Career College is a reputable College. I am looking at different schools in Utah that offer online degrees because I plan to move to Utah in about 2 years, but I'd like to start my degree now. I already have an associates degree in general studies. I haven't settled on a major yet.

So if you have attended, or know someone who has, please tell me whether you had a good experience and any good or bad points about it.

The one in West Jordan? It is accredited by: Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT).

That is one of the national accreditors, which is a real, but less accepted accreditation compared to the regional accreditation. So just for utility of your degree, I would look elsewhere.

I've known several people that have attended UCC, either for computer degrees or health related fields. I worked at LDS Hospital and saw students of some type (medical assisting?) with UCC scrubs on, and LDS Hospital is one of the best hospitals in the country (US News top 100 hospitals for many years). Depending on what your degree is, I would also suggest WGU...Western Governors University. They have some great programs there, and are competency based so you can finish faster. Their website is www.wgu.edu but you don't actually have to live in Utah to attend there.
