Hi, finally found a possible answer to your problems. It was published in Journal of Sport and Exercise Psychology, 12, 167-176. Chipman, L. (1966). The effects of selected music on endurance.
I signed in with the JSEP (free) on their website and searched it. It only had limited back issues, but there was a link to request that article at the top. (Not all older past issues are available for most journals.)
The paper has been cited in many other papers, too. Type in Chipman in your search engine and you'll have loads of resources for your project.

You say it is an article, but your reference states MASTER's THESIS... Your best bet online should be Proquest or other database of dissertations your library subscribes to, but it is not that likely that it will be in digital format.
As I imagine going to Springfield College directly is not an option I would recommend an interlibrary loan through your library... and while you are at it, consult the subject librarian. I will be quite frank: as you could not tell an article from a thesis I think you need to polish up your research skills and knowledge of resources, especially if that research proposal is accepted.

I would have thought that, if it was a master's thesis, it would have been published. contact springfield college direct and ask them. I have just looked online and there are quite a few springfield colleges, so I hope you know which one it is! (but the Massachusetts one seems to fit the bill as it was set up at the YMCA as a sports college)
However, please check with your tutor that it is okay to quote something like this in your thesis.
