College Question?
Question:
Are there any online that i can go to?
Answer:
PC repair? You may do best starting with your local community college, and seeing if they offer an associates degree which will also give you something called "A Plus Certification* " when you graduate. You may want to obtain some additional hardware-related certifications as you work through your degree, but A+ is key.
While you're in school, try to get a part time job, internship, co-op, or do volunteer work in your field. Your college career center can usually help you find something. If you graduate with an Associates in something computer related, plus the right computer certifications, and some related work experience, you'll be able to find a decent job at rather a nice salary (often $50,000+) But the work experience will be vital.
If you also have some software skills, that will only help you. Your focus can be on hardware, but the added software will make you more employable.
It's best that you attend a college in person, if at all possible. Your degree will be better respected from a brick and mortar campus than it will be from an online program, and you'll be more likely to actually get a job when you graduate.
*That's usually written as A+ Certification.
A good college and study I.t
computer science
Computer Science at a 4 year university would be good. You may also want to look at trade schools in your area to see if they offer any programs to reach your goal.
First, I recommend you start with certifications. You need an A+ certification and look into C++, MCSE (Micorsoft Systems Engineer), and MCSD (Microsoft Systems Developer). This will get you the knowledge and a little experience you need to get your feet wet. From there I recommend a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (not UOP) a real school. Good luck!
