I feel depressed, going to a small boring college, please help?
Question:
Answer:
If you feel you are addicted to the Internet, but would like to make friends, I would suggest trying to join some clubs at your college where you can meet people who have similar interests. It is hard getting out, but you are never going to meet anyone sitting at home doing nothing.
It is ok to feel sad sometimes, but if you have been feeling sad for quite a while, maybe you should consider going to a counselor. Most colleges have counseling centers where you can see people on a sliding scale.
Its okay to feel sad sometimes, because when things turn around..it will be that much better!! but you cant just be sad, try to get out and improve your skills..just relax and be cool, dont talk about internet games..dont over do it..dress cool too that will help...and after you make friends, try to see what they like and go out with them...or change schools!! and go to WVU or IUP
Here's a little song I wrote, you might want to learn it note for note, don't worry,..be happy!

Limit your consumption of alcohol to 2 standard drinks/day: more has a depressive effect, and have an alcohol free day/week, to let your liver recover. Use marijuana only on weekends, if you can, and try to convert to eating it in brownies, as smoking it is almost as bad as cigarettes. See http://www.ezy-build.net.nz/~shaneris... on page 2: depression treatments. Set a reasonable limit on internet use. See http://www.teenfx.com/index.php... and ask for their suggestions about relationships. You could try online dating, courses such as art, creative writing or ceramics; approach the girls you are attracted to and ask a sensible question, and see what sort of response you get. Have interesting things to talk about, like: what do you think about that cat in England that catches the bus regularly? View Your Yahoo: Reuters: Oddly enough, and read newspapers. You will do better with a clear head, and only one drink, or 2 at most, to help relax you, if trying pubs/bars on Friday/Saturday nights. Also see http://nolongerlonely.com/
