Online High School?

Question:
Lets say I want to go to school online. Like www.dalloway-school.com. If I get my high school diploma and my GED on that website, will I be able to go into any colleges?

Answer:
Be VERY careful when considering an online high school like Dalloway. After a review of their website, I am highly suspicious of the validity of their diplomas. They say, pass a test, apply for the diploma and then get it in 7 to 10 days. Also, from their FAQ page:

2. Will my diploma be a GED?
Dalloway High School offers a high school graduation program, often called high school equivalency program. Although the Dalloway Program includes a testing process containing similar curriculum questions it is not a GED ... We highly recommend that based on your career or life goals you consider completing both programs.

If this were a valid high school diploma program, there would be no need to get a GED.

Based upon the above, I highly recommend that you check with your community college first to determine if they will accept a Dalloway diploma. If they don't, then why waste the money on it? Either get your GED or go to a valid online high school program (don't worry, I'm going to give you some in a minute). There are plenty of study guides for GED exams at major book stores or you can order one online from Amazon or Barnes and Noble. Here are some valid online high school programs that will give you an actual high school diploma.

The first one is a valid, private company that is accredited to offer high school diplomas. The other three are state colleges that offer high school diploma programs. All of the above will award you a diploma that will be accepted by as valid by colleges.

Good luck
I'm sure you'll be able to get into colleges. Maybe you won't be a school's first choice, because you weren't in a classroom environment, but if you're consistent with your work, meet all the requirements, and can get your online teachers to write recommendations for you, colleges should have no reason to turn you away.
Yup im just finishing at PennFoster High school which is online and they are accepted at alot of colleges and it was so easy to graduate.. i finished in a breeze! The layout at pennfoster high school online is so easy! and you take all your tests online and get instant test results.
Certainly not the best colleges, e.g. Ivy League, MIT, Stanford, Duke, UCLA
