Credible and legitimate online college courses?

Question:
i would like to take a few online classes, but i want to be sure i'm getting my actual and tranferrable credits, so how do i make sure the place is legit? could anyone give me a list of "colleges" that are? thanks!

Answer:
>>I would start by deciding what school you want to go to and THEN check to see if they have online classes. I live in Phoenix and all of the community colleges have online classes which are legit. I am pretty sure that ASU has online classes too.
most universities have online classes offered. I go to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and we have an awesome online program. I took a class over the summer through Carolina Courses online and it was great, a very interactive learning experience. You don't have to do this with UNC, it's probably cheaper to go with a University in your state of residence, but most major state schools offer online classes now.
