Know anything about PCDI (online college)?
Question:
Answer:
I also looked into PCDI, and I never trusted them.
I suggest not going with them. I attend Penn Foster College and it's absolutely great! Very afforadable and trustworthy. I'm truly getting my money's worth and learning a lot about my major.
Also, if you get your associates through Penn Foster, there are many universities, online and campus that accept 100 % of the transfer credits, so it'd be absolutely possible to go on and get your bachelors. They offer really great programs, believe me! I never trusted online, but I really like Penn Foster College.
Join the yahoo! group and talk to hundreds of other students. They've done it, and gotten great jobs afterwards. Also many who are currently attending. We all help each other out and answer questions. It'll help a lot!
Best of luck to you and your future studies!
I take online classes at Devry. It can be a great way to learn. I have taken classes at a regular university and online classes at Devry and I learn as much or more with online classes. If you want to know something specific about online classes that you think I could answer then you can email me. I would go with Devry by the way because it has the more recognizable name.
I've heard that those 'online colleges' are not really looked at by employers as reputable institutions of learning. I also saw here (and on www.ripoffreport.com where consumers can post complaints about companies, organizations and services) that people have said not to go to the online schools including University of Phoenix, Strayer University, Devry U, and Kaplan U.
Here is a link for PCDI - http://www.pcdi.com/about/accreditation.
I have never heard of their accredidation. I am sure it is not one of the six nationally recognized accredidation bodies. I would say look into Mountain State University. They are non-profit and offer a accredidated four year Bachelors degree online. Best of luck!
