Firefox help.?

Question:
I am taking an online college course, and whenever I click on this particular link, it makes the browser span the length of my computer screen (I am using an iMac). How do I force new windows to instead go to a new tab in the current window (and will this solve my problem).

Answer:
download the extension "tab mix plus"
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox...
then do this:
tools > options > tabs
well, you could right click on the link then open it into a new tab. also try to hold down control (Ctrl) then click the link .
