Does anyone know of any colleges/universities that offer an online master's program in...?

Question:

elementary school counseling? i'm waa-hay-hay overdue to start my master's program, but being a single parent, i really need the convenience of an "online program"... i realize that practicums, et cetera would need to be done in a traditional setting, but i'd hope that they could be worked in over the summer months. i've done some searching, but come up empty... does anyone here have any idears? your help is most appreciated!

I do not know a specific school for your program. But whatever you do, find a school that has a real brick-and-mortar building and happens to offer an online program. Northwestern, NYU, UMass, University of Florida, USC Engineering, etc. are now offering online degrees. Do not go for Universify of Phoenix, Argosy, Walden etc, if you want your degree to be appreciated and conducive to your job search in the future. Also, there are online schools that are not eligible for Federal student loans. If that is the case, bad news. Avoid the school like a plague. Even the government does not consider it a worthy school for financial aids. Try googling UMass Online, they seem to have a wide variety of masters. Good luck.
