Question:
Does anyone have any experience using the GI Bill at Penn Foster? Currently I am being awarded 73.00 per month with my GI Bill. I have been told by VA and Penn Foster that at the end of my semester Penn Foster will submit a form to VA showing how many credits I earned and the time frame it took to earn them. Then VA will determine if I was a full, 3/4, half time student and issue a check for the proper amount. I finished 17 credits in 8 months does anyone know how much additional money (if any) I will receive for this. I can't seem to get an answer from VA and I figure it will take several weeks to process. If anyone has any knowledge of this I would welcome any comments. I think I will only be awarded the cost of the semester ($895)but they make it sound like it will be more, like I said before its hard to get a straight answer out of VA ask two or three times and you are sure to get two or three different answers. Thanks for any help.
Answer:
Below is the VA form for another college that is setup alot like Penn Foster. It shows how the VA determines what rate they pay you. Other than that I really don't know how exactly Penn Foster functions. If you come up with any of the details let me know because I too plan on going to Penn and will be using my VA. Thanks.
