What some good online colleges that are accredited?
Question:
Answer:
The state universities and community colleges will be the best and least expensive way to further your education online. Usually degrees obtained online from state universities and colleges will be no different than a degree granted to a student sitting in class. You probably won't get a scholarship, but financial aid is possible.
Stay away from the for-profits because of high cost. Some will be reasonable, but most, like University of Phoenix, overcharge.
If you are just starting your college education or have less than 60 semester credit hours, try your local community college first. They may have an online AA degree program. If they don't, try other community colleges in your state.
Once you have an AA degree, you can enroll in an online bachelor's degree completion program at one of the state universities. Many state universities now have online degrees. The following are some websites to get you started.

When you choose a school, make sure it is at least regionally accredited. You can check accreditation at http://ope.ed.gov/accreditation/search.a... You can learn more about accreditation at http://www.ed.gov/admins/finaid/accred/i...
Finally, there are a couple of forums online with members who have obtained their degrees online. Some have gone pretty far with their online degrees. The forums are free to join but you can read the forum without joining. You just won't be able to post. http://forums.degreeinfo.com and http://www.instantcertonline.com/forums...
Good luck
That's a hard question to answer. Even though it's very convenient today, it's still not as trustworthy as expected. You could use the Google or Yahoo! search engines and type accredited online colleges. However, one in specific comes to my mind: University of Maryland. I hear they have good online course systems. You might want to check it out.
Most major colleges/universities offer online courses. I would trust a college that says they are only online.
University of Phoenix
plus, the University of Florida at Gainsville has online courseswhere you dont have to go on campus
(GO GATORS!)
Although it is not online, I recommend the University of London's external program- it's definitely accredited.
A lot of accredited brick and mortar schools offer online programs.
U Phoenix, Capella and Northcentral U are all online and accredited.
Colorado Technical University Online is an accredited college. I know many people that attend that college. They have great degree programs.
Whatever you do, do not trust UoP for a high quality education. They are a for-profit diploma mill that any idiot can walk right into. They are not accredited by the same high standards as a traditional college and are certainly not respected by employers.
Consider a traditional college and a few distance ed courses as opposed to a strictly online education. You'll be far more respected and have more chances to get further in your career.
Penn State World Campus.
