Should I continue to wait for someone I met online?

Question:
Here's the story in a nutshell:

I met my guy a few years ago online through this site of a mutual interest, and we instantly clicked in so many ways and soon developed an exclusive relationship outside of the site. We've both fallen in love, but we were both too young to do anything at the time. The other thing is, I found out he lives on the other side of the country, but that didn't stop me from pursuing a relationship because we connect in so many ways. I am deeply in love with him, but it's getting difficult.

I finished my B.A. recently and am starting grad school in Aug., and he still has a couple years of college left. But I'm feeling a little sad because there seems to be so much between us and the distance is starting to get to me. I want him here so badly now, to just start having a physical relationship, yet I don't want to break it off because I know he is someone that is worth waiting for. And I don't want to do anything hasty like move there permanently yet. Any ideas?

Answer:
I'm glad to hear that you're not thinking of doing anything too hasty.
One of the troubles with long-distance relationships is that they can be hard if you don't have something that you are working towards, like getting together permenantly someday.
Have you ever considered taking time off to fly over and spend some time together, or is it an option for him to fly over to see you?
You might want to make sure he really is the person that you've gotten to know online.
Wait. I'm not a fan of long distance relationships, but it really sounds like you all have somthing going on. If I were you I'd try to find someway to get to hang out with him for a week or so to see how things go face to face, that really is a BIG deal.
Online romances tend to escalate quickly. Even though it has been a few years, If you've not spent time in each others company, moving there permanently might not be the way to go. You guys need to come up with a compromise.
try 2 work out thin between u try to meet in ur free time world is too small.
