College stuff, anyone know?

Question:
If I use my financial Aid (pell, loans) in one town but want to take one class out of pocket at another college, can I do that without a problem? The school I go to wont let me take it online, so I'm going to take it in the town I live in. Can I be enrolled at 2 schools without a problem?

Answer:
The only issue I see is whether the credits you take at the second school will transfer back to the first. If it's a course you're just taking for interest, it probably won't matter to you. If it's a course for a major or some other requirement, check with the first school.
I don't see why it'd be a problem if you will be paying out of pocket...Maybe call the 2nd school and ask them just to be safe though...
There shouldn't be any problem with taking another class at a different college, especially since you're paying for it out of your own pocket. I have a friend who is enrolled in two colleges, one for the majority of her coursework for the semester, and the other for a simple weekend class. She's had no probelms thus far. Go for it!
