I am interested in becoming an LPN, i would prefer to go to an online college..?

Question:
I was wondering if there is any programs i can do online for the LPN? I don't want to go for any degrees. Any help would be great. I just want to do the LPN program and get my state liscense.

Answer:
You need to go to the website of your State Board of Nursing to find out what levels of education are needed for which nursing designations. There are many good (partially) online nursing programs, though you would, of course, actually have to materialize at a specific physical location for your clinicals. You might see whether any of the nursing programs listed at http://www.usnews.com/education... are proper preparation for the LPN designation or what. Many seem to be RN-to-BSN programs and MSN programs with a few DNP programs mixed in. But I'm not sure how much there is in the way of pre-LPN or even pre-RN programs. Hope you can find something.
go for it...I'm sure you will learn a lot teaching yourself how to be a nurse!! i would certainly feel safe having you stick a needle in my arm!!
