I want a Dell for college. I've looked up many, many laptops and my price ceiling is $1300. What's good?

Despite negative reviews of Dell, I found it to be the best one for me.
I'll be using it mainly for going online, storing music, and playing games...Ya, in college
Answer:
can't read your dellstore basket, but i would suggest go with the Inspiron E1505 the most expensive model for currently $1216, upgrade the graphics card to ATI X1400 (+$50, then it's possible to play games pretty well) and the restore CD (+$10) makes a total of $1276.
i think the new XPS M1210 is simply too expensive for what you get and a further drawback is the relative small screen of only 12".
Why not go for IBM. I'm using Dell although I don't prefer to use it. IBM has more security system, but it's expensive.
