I'm planning on becoming a police officer, which college course should I take ?
Question:
Does anyone know of any colleges in Canada that would give me a general Law program. While I was on a ride along with a police officer the other day, I spoke with him and he told me he took a course in college that had to do with Law before joining the police force, I should of asked him more details regarding this, however it never came to mind.
Also where may I find more information ? Once school begins again in September I plan on speaking with my school councilor, until then I'm still searching the net for a college in Canada that will offer any kind of law program..Becoming a police officer does not require college, however it's always better to have a degree of some kind.
Check with a community college near you. I hope you're going to be a police officer that actually cares about citizens and wants to help put away the actual "bad" guys. I hope you're not going to be a cop who's racist or just a bully...picking on people just because you know you can.
Please do the right thing.
