Answer:
Purdue University pharmacy undergrad.
Every single student that applies for medical school gets in.
maybe not their first choice. but every student that wants to go to medical school. is accepted somewhere.
counselloromatic on www.review.com... click on colleges you'll see it there...
my rec--- www.queensu.ca
The school doesn't matter so much as how you DO while you're there. And do well on the MCAT (at least a 30 to be competitive--24 is national avg). Try to get at LEAST a 3.5 GPA...higher is better.
Can't really tell you a good school unless you say what area you'd like to go to school in. Try not to go to a big state school (I do), and our classes are just GIGANTIC...so if you need help, you're outta luck.
You can do pre-med at any community college or university. There is no such thing as a good or bad pre-med school. They all get you to the same place in the end, and nobody will care what the rankings say.
I think if you register on fastweb.com (it's free) you can find a review of most colleges. You can probably do a search online to find good medical schools and then check out reviews on fastweb as well as other sites. Fastweb may even be able to help you find a college on their site. I already knew where I was going when I registered there so I'm not sure. If you don't know about fastweb, it can help you find scholarships for soooo many different programs/schools/backgrounds! Easy!
For pre med, you can probably go to almost any state school and not have any trouble getting in, but definitely go to a good medical school. Research not just the school itself, but what percentage of their med students find work straight out of college.
