Which univeristies accept transfers from DETC-accredited online engineering associate degrees(i.e.Penn Foster)

Question:
I am specifically interested in which accredited universities would accept a transfer of the credits from the mechanical engineering assocites degree obtained from Penn Foster (online DETC-accredited school). It is my understanding that regionally accredited schools do not accept DETC credits unless they are possibly ACE reviewed (some Penn FOster courses are ACE but I do not know about the engineering ones) and this does not guarantee that colleges will accept it even so. Interested specifically in Univ of Maryland, and northern NJ (near NY) colleges (for obtaining Bachelor's in Engineering by transferring Penn FOster credits from Assoc. degree). This may be helpful but I dont know if hte Guide is as specific as what I want to know:

http://www.pennfostercollege.edu/mecheng...

Maybe someone has already done this and knows personally?
Thanks a lot for info.

Answer:
Several colleges and Universities acceprt ACE credits. All of Penn Foster's engineering programs are ACE accredited. There is a small list of colleges at www.nationalponsi.org/college_... Many of which do accept ACE credits. Just like anyother 2-year school in America, not all all of your credits will transfer. I hope this Helps. I'm a penn foster student. I investigated this subject thoroughly before enrolling.
