Worked professionally, but now a recent college grad. How do I emphasize that on a resume for salary?
Question:
Also, I am seeing a lot of jobs online that require a salary history with resume submission. Since I was working part time to complete a degree, my salary history was low for the past 2 years. How can I negotiate a salary that is worth my experience and education now? Any help is appreciated!
Answer:
Your resume should have a section of employment history and how long you have worked for each employer. That should inform them the time you spent when you were working full time. In regards to salary, you should put down what you are making part time, and you can always negotiate later if they decide to come back with an offer.
They have these things called cover letters.
resume making is a very crucial process for everyone who is serious about his/her career!
I would suggest you take some professional help from MS word which has inbuilt resume templates for making your resume.
You can also follow the step-by-step instruction to make your free resume, using the resume builder provided with MS office.
Resume styles differ according to profession, and sources of sample resumes are available in my profile, have a look :)
