Question:
I need a graphing calculator this next coming semester in college for a pre-calculus algebra class and was looking to buy a graphing calculator online like maybe on amazon or ebay. And they are a lot cheaper but im concerned they won't be in top shape. What are your opinions? Is it a good idea or should i just go to the store and pay over $100 for a new calculator as opposed to half that price online?
Answer:
I got two of my calculators, TI-83 Plus off of yahoo auctions and the TI-92 Plus from ebay and I have yet to have a single problem with any of them. I say go for it. It is definitely worth it. Just pay attention to the page and the ratings/comments...and then make an intelligent decision.
I've always had good luck buying online/
JR's Music and Computers or Buy.com are good places.
I think that it would serve your interest better, if you buy one in person. That way you can try it out. You can't do this on line.
go to live deal.com
