Question:
Answer:
Even Harvard and Yale have accepted home schooled kids, but you gotta' be good. I cannot speak for any specific high school. But, it is sure worth looking at. Friends who home schooled said there are even special colleges for kids who home schooled.
Confidence. Find what you want, and try for it. If you fail, well, better to have tried and failed than to never have tried at all.
You might ask that online school if they know of any colleges that will accept their diploma and find a home school assocation and ask the director if they know any colleges which have accepted home schooled kids.
Remember Abe Lincoln was mostly home schooled.
Go to the online web site of a few colleges you are interested in. I'm sure they have a section on requirements for admission. They probably also have a special section within that about "what if you were home schooled." I have seen this in several of the colleges my daughter looked at this year. It will tell you exactly how to approach college applications. Also, even though you haven't attended your local high school, you can always call the guidance counselor there for advice on this.
