Can you take college algebra online my school is not offering it this semester?

Question:

Answer:
Wait for next semester or take it through a community college.

I wouldn't suggest online courses unless YOUR school offers it. Extra money you shouldn't have to spend.

Other options: wait until summer to take it. There's no rush--Algebra will still be there.
ask your guidance counselor - they should know
usually yes, but make sure before you spend the money and time and effort that your school will accept those credits
i only know the information if you are in california. if you are, then i can help you out a lot a lot a lot.
The answer is "maybe." You need to check with your academic advisor to see if your college/university prohibits students from taking courses at other schools while enrolled in studies on their campus. Most colleges and university do prohibit such activities -- you could take the course, but you can't receive transfer credit for it. You should also check about transfer credits from other schools (community colleges and so forth) before taking any courses at any other location during summer semesters. Most colleges will allow this, but some take and apply transfer credits on a limited basis.
