lol YUP! life gets in the way of getting the degree alright, but if you waited until life didn't get in the way, you would be waiting a very long time! so I encourage you to go ahead with it!
About the online schools. there are both pros and cons to classes that are online. I took online courses for my BA and failed (twice if I remember correctly)... you have to be a SUPER self-starter and have 0% procrastination (or at least be able to handle the 'procras' part)..
And you are right about the accreditation! make sure that the school you would be attending online is a school that is accredited by both the association that you are tailoring your degree to (such as social workers getting their master's would want the school to be accredited by CACREP). many private and prestigious colleges have the online degree program, you will still receive the same diploma and it holds the same weight

Depends on which school, what curriculum, and what field you are going into. . .but, since you have a life time membership in the bogus account maker club, why would you be wondering about a college degree?
Online classes are becoming more common and they are even offered by most traditional colleges. It is an alternative to going to class every day and I believe it is the future of education. I have taken many online classes and find them to be very demanding and require a lot of discipline. Many of my online classes have been more rewarding than on site classes. To answer your question : as online education becomes more and more common, it definitely holds as much weight as any other type of degree.
definitely, community college is the best. education through online cannot be communicative, because direct interaction and communication holds lot of strength and problems or queries can be solved then and then. online things can be specific but not informative as much as a college where you get lot of scope for knowledge. the depth is more than online where it only upwardly. contentment is more while learning through Guru with personal touch.
Univ. of Phoenix is a good one. Another way to go is take on-line classes and then transfer to a good 4 yr college and complete your degree there. When you get your diploma, it will not mention the other school, but will state that you earned a 4 year degree from the better college. Most on-line schools do not carry as much weight as a traditional college, Univ. of Phoenix being the exception - but they are expensive.
