Are Online Colleges looked at by employers worse than a credited university thats been there for years?

Question:
I have seriously considered getting a degree online but not sure if it would be as good as getting one from a univerity does anybody have any experience

Answer:
A degree is a degree. I attended the Univeristy of Phoenix online and had some pretty amazing profesors. I just graduated two years ago with my MBA and i have not felt that anyone looks at my degree as less...in fact UoP is a well known school.

I am currently the director of accounting for a successful manufacturing company and they would not consider anyone with less than a master's degre and i was chosen from 35 applicants.

It is kind of pricey, at least compared to the traditional schools near me with MBA cirricullums so that may be a downside for you.
Online colleges aren't any worse than state schools, but they don't have prestige. You could always get your bachelor's at one, then go to a prestigious school for your master's.
You bet! Employers also view the applicant as someone they can give less salary to for same job
I would think it depends on the degree and the position you apply for. By and large, however, I think that to most employers a degree is a degree.
