Do Any Of You Students Prefer To Take Your Courses Online, Or In The Classroom?

Question:
My college offers some courses online or on tape, and I thought I could handle online courses, but I doubt i'll take them again. Distance education is great for those that really need it, and who have the discipline to take the courses; but not for everyone. I find that with my online courses, it's easy to lose track of things, and get very behind in the class. I guess it's just too much freedom for me to handle. lol What about you?

Answer:
Actually, I completed my associates and then my bachelors online. You jave to be self disciplined, focused, and have great time management skills. I loved it until, I entered my major which was accounting. It was a tough subject for me and I thought traditional classes would have served me better. But overall, it was great.
in the classroom is better, but online can be ok too, u get more freedom, u can masturbate while at class, hahahha,
I can handle to freedom and lack of structure, but it irks me to pay $$ for face time w/an instructor but end up having online "independent learning".
Classroom is better. Harder to blow off once you're in the room. Plus, I met some of my best buddies while I was completing my Masters Degree. Great experience.
classroom because once your there, your there to learn so you stay and actually learn. there isnt a pause button or anything like a tape. Also you can ask professors for help when you need it. With more flexibility you become more lazy
I prefer online classes..It gives me the oppurtunity to finish all of my work early. at my conveince...

With sitting in a classroom, you have to deal with all the other knucle heads
I did a traditional bachelors (all classroom) in the early 80's. 15 years later, I did another one (career change) almost totally by distance.

It depends on the subject, but the DL stuff fits my lifestyle more now. When I was first in college, I probalby wouldn't have stayed on track as well.
in the classroom is better because it allows you to have a higher level of teacher student contact, you get responses to your questions immediately rather than having to wait two to three weeks, on-line can be good if you want to be by yourself or you fear competition from other students
