Is online study a credible way to earn a college diploma?

Yes it is as that's what my daughter is doing. She is a single mom so this is convient for her and she only has to go to the Junior College once in awhile for certain tests or classes.
Absolutely. All the colleges are doing it. I'm an online student myself.
It is a credible way of going about getting a degree, but from what I've seen in the working world a degree from an actually university tends to hold more water.
I say take most of your needed classes for online university
then when u get close to graduating transfer to a tradition university so your diploma will say that university
It is perfectly ok to take online classes from a real university. Like, for example, taking US History from Notre Dame in an online course.
On the other hand; a purely online university, like The University of Phoenix Online, is a waste of time and money. If you get a degree from an "online university" expect your resume to go in the trash most of the time.
