What do employers think of Grand Canyon University, and similar online schools?
Question:
Now, I would like the flexibility of independent learning from any city/country. I am considering moving in the next 1-2 years, and would like my graduate school to be able to "follow me around," so to speak.
Would getting a master's at an online school be a mistake in my case?
Answer:
Your best bet is to find a traditional school with online classes. Many state schools now offer these. It will say you graduated from the school and nothing about it being online.
To be honest, most companies don't care what school you graduated from, just as long as it was accredited. The only time the school you graduated from matters, is if the person interviewing you is an alum from the same school.
To continue your education is never a mistake.
