Did anyone know how cheap college books are?

Alot of people don't know it yet. But you can get your college books online at amazon.com for 1/2 the price, or even less at the school bookstore. I got one book that would have been $40 used for $7 at amazon and that INCLUDES shipping. Any other good sites to get the books at?

Overstock.com and walmart.com also have good deals on new books.
Make sure you search by the ISBN and not the title

that's fine if it is the current edition that your college is using.

I guess it really depends on where your money lies. The college which I attend costs me around $30,000.00 every nine months just in tuition and fees, so paying out a small amount of money to get the books from the book store isn't really that big of a deal. I usually pick them up only when I really need them anyways, so it doesn't result in that big of a problem. One thing which I would really like to see a little bit cheaper, however, is when you purchase CD-Rom type books that they come a little bit cheaper. Paying $100.00 for a little box that you're only going to use for one fourth of the year and doesn't even come with any paper is rediculous.

Did anyone know how cheap college books are?
