Is there a graduation ceremony after completing online course for a degree from a local comm. college?

Question:
Or do you just get it in the mail?

Answer:
I think you are invited to attend the next graduation ceremony, even if you get your degree through the mail. If you want to participate in the ceremony, call the Dean of Students and ask if you can participate.
in the mail...very impersonal!!
This is just one course, not the degree itself, right?

You should be able to print out an online transcript showing that you passed the course. That's probably all that you will get.

Graduation ceremonies are usually done 1-2 times per year for whoever is eligible for a degree. You don't have to attend the ceremony to get the degree.
There's no ceremony. I got my diploma in the mail and I went to an accredited university. You can't get a degree in the mail. You have to earn it.
yes
