What steps do I take to go back to college (online) to become an attorney?
Question:
Any advice? I have no idea WHICH online school or which program. There seem to be millions out there. Also, I have to figure out how to pay for this.
Is a loan the best way?
A scholarship?
Does anyone know the ins and outs of this large decision and the steps I need to take now that I have decided?
Thank you SO much.
Answer:
I don't think you can get a law degree online, at least not one that is worth anything. Graduate with your bachelor degree first. That is your most important obstacle. Then you have to take the LSAT, which will require a lot of preparation and studying; then you have to apply for law school; pick one that offers a night program. They do exist. Go part time; it will take you several years. I don't know where you live so I couldn't tell you if there are any in your area. But I do know that many working professionals get law degrees at night at legitimate schools. A student loan would probably be best for you.
