Can I take online class to get a associate degree in Nursing?
Question:
Answer:
yes
I think you can at Excelsior
presuming you are in uk, try open university... a little birdie also told me that the British Government actually pay YOU to do a degree in nursing.
You can take quite a few of the nursing classes online, but you have to be on site for the clinicals. Not unless they develop a SIMS program for that.

RN is not possible. I know you can take 100% on-line classes to be a medical coder or medical transcriptions. There may be something else too.
there are a lot of online schools that you can enroll in.
select an accredited school with local offices though since you may have to meet with other online students for project studies and such.
google 'em...
I have taken many classes in the medical field. I am a Certified Health Unit Coordinator and a Medical Assistant. Some of your classes you can take online. But alot of your classes are going to be hands on. You have to learn phlebotomy and how to give all kinds of tests. In class you use each other as guinne pigs. It's not as bad as it sounds. But it is a hands on line of work and you have to be comfortable and know what you are doing.
yes but its better to do it hands on.
I don't believe you can do it all online for RN, or even LPN/LVN. A good portion possibly, but you will have labs and clinicals that must be hand's on, and you can imagine why! I would think the same for any medical-related field. You should look into local RN programs though as some are very flexible in scheduling clinicals. My program had mostly non-traditional students who worked, and/or had families, etc... Good luck!
