What is your college class schedule like?
Question:
How do you make your schedule? What is your preference
Answer:
I am taking 13 credits as well! I am taking College Algebra, Freshman Eng 2, Applied Psychology/Criminal Psychology, Historical Geology and a Geology Lab. I have Eng and Psyc on Mondays and Wednesdays from 8am to 10:45am and I have Geology and Algebra on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11am-1:45pm and my Geology lab on Thursdays from 2pm-4:40pm.
horrible believe me
morning classes work for me.
I usually take about 18-20 credit hours (I've maxed out at like 21). I prefer being busy. I like my classes around noon and the afternoon. Normally though, I haven't got a choice in the matter of what I take and when.
This semester I'm taking 16 credit hours but it will be PLENTY of work. I've got 3 hard core upper division biology courses to take. I am studying Biological Anthropology.
No job, ever...that schedule is enough work for me.
I'm taking 20 hours.
Elementary Arabic, Intermediate Persian, History of Modern Intelligence, and Persian Culture.
I'm also working part time (about 30 hours a week).
For reading, I HIGHLY recommend getting audiobooks from the library. I listen to them driving to and from campus and work, and put some on my iPod for other times. It's not quite the same as reading (I prefer a good old fashioned book), but it's better than nothing.
Good luck!
Hello, well first of all I am a freshman at college, and just to tell you my first semester I took 16 hours in credits, one class was online. Just to tell you if you want to be full time, but you do not want to go to college everyday then stick with those 13 credits. Usually you will have three days off if you do this, but also if you look for a part time job, are you looking for less than 20 hours per week? If you are full time which you are do not exceed those hours untill you are pretty familiar with college otherwise your life will be hell. Trust me been there done that.
In order to make your schedule if you are part time at any job pick four days out of the whole week to go to school. Two classes per day, and from those two classes pick one that is a breeze to pass, and one taht is a bit hard such as math. I am pretty sure you can make it through man, and good luck. I might not be the best person to refer to, but from experience thsi is what I have learned. I hope this really helped you, and I hope you are successful in your career. Oh and if you are not sure what you wanna be see an academic advisor, and tell them what you like the most i am sure they will help you a lot. Good luck
Well it's my first year and both semesters i have it worked out so i can get my usual freshman classes out of the way, before i (hopefully) transfer to Umass. I go to school 2 days a week, having 4 classes a day-12 credit hours. This schedule does help, but i know you can't always schedule like that. Usually i have at least 15 mins between classes, and one time frame of 2 hours between classes, around 12:15.
