Is there a solar powered window air conditioning unit?
Question:
Answer:
No, they only make solar powered clothes dryers. They cost near to nothing. Just rope and clothes pin's.
No. Too much power required. They have something like to release heat out of a parked car, fan only!
That would be amazing. I haven't heard of one yet, I think AC units still suck up too much energy to be powered by the solar panels you could squeeze on one. Best of luck tho!
Check out SolCool.net
Kind of pricey, but it IS available. Have you considered a solar powered evaporative cooler (aka swamp cooler)? There are a lot of solar powered fans available. Maybe you could rig your own diy evaporative cooler. Seems like I saw a tutorial for something like this on the Make Magazine website.
Check this out too -- kind of a wacky site -- but might have something like you're looking for.

NOT THAT I HAVE HEARD OF. IF YOU INVENT ONE YOU COULD GET REAL RICH REAL FAST.I WOULD BE HAPPY TO PAY AN EXTRA COST TO HAVE THE FIRST EARTH FRIENDLY AC UNIT.
