Will solar garden lights work indoors?

Question:

Answer:
try reading the instructions and da answer is no!!
I think they need the sun, i have a solar powered thing which doesn't work on cloudy days even!
No..kinda like your brain.
Once they have been charged by the sun they will work until they need recharging again.
derrr y not try them
Solar lights store enery using the solar cells in the tops. They require a certain amount of "lumens" (a measurement of light) before they will function properly. Indoor lighting simply does not generate enough light for your garden lights to work.

I found this out the hard way when I put my solar lights under the big tree in the front yard. Doh!!
Probly not unless the sun shines on them
Take the light outside all day to build up the solar power and bring it in when the sun goes down, then you will have an indoor solar light
Sure, you can charge up the solar lights with your kitchen lights or other lights in your home... they need to be directly under them. Its not the UVA rays that lights them, its the light that does... thats why they don't work on cloudy days... but you can still get a sun burn on cloudy days..
Sometimes
Well, seeing as they are SOLAR powered, meaning they gather energy by sitting in the SUN all day, I would say no unless you have them sitting in a window.

Good luck to you!
