Why do you think the 11-year solar storm cycle will be more intense this time?

The sun undergoes an 11-year cycle of unrest and storms. It peaked last in 2001. Scientists say it will be more intense by 2012. Why do you think this is so? What is your opinion? See the details here at:

Answer:
It could be that the sun goes through periods of higher and lower intensity storms, like a wave goes through lower and higher points...
It's heating up because we're pumping too much Carbon Dioxide in to the atmosphere...

Oh, wait, that's here on Earth, it may just be a natural occurence...
