Why not convert everything to renewable and solar energy NOW!?

Question:

Answer:
Because the robberbarons of the petroleum industry do not have complete control over those resourses yet.
them what would we have to fight the war over?
Cost and sheer impracticality. Have you researched this subject before asking such a silly question?
AMEN.
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$...
How can we do that right at this moment? It is going to take time. Rome wasn't built in a day.
oil companies are too powerful. they have too much money and pretty much control everything.
Follow the money trail. Peace.
cant cost to much money
Besides, the rich people dosent want us to have cheap renovable energy resources... and that something we could be loooong ago
Because it's not reliable. There's a little thing called darkness. What happens when you want to drive at night, or if it is too cloudy.
Because it is not practical to do so.
Because there's less profit in it, and everything is run by the greedy.

Actually, we couldn't do it literally NOW -- it would take some time.

But if we had started 30 years ago, we'd have been there by now.
because solar energy is costly.. and you have to buy the cells that wear out which need to be replaced once they stop working... there is no such thing as truly renewable energy..
