How is solar energy renewable?

Question:

Answer:
Brian is right, but I have to add a smart-*** remark that sun will burn up and go out in a few million years, but by then the humankind will either destroy itself, or find a way to move on to other stars.
Its renewable because it never runs out! If you burn coal, the coal is gone. If you use the sun, the sun is still there. You can never absorb all of the suns energy therefore making it a 100% renewable resource.
