I want to make a solar system for school.?

Question:
How many plantets are there now? Somone told me that Pluto isn't a planet anymore and didn't they find two new planets? Please tell me all of them in order if you can. Thanks. :)

Answer:
Pluto is now considered a dwarf planet. There are two other dwarf planets: Ceres is in the asteroid belt and Eris is way out near Pluto. There are no new full-sized planets, so there are now eight of them.

Good luck with your project!
(Sun) Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars (asteroid belt) Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune (Pluto) (Kuiper Belt). Pluto is considered a dwarf planet.
You should include Pluto, anyway.

Whatever you do, whatever anyone else here on Y!Answers says, DON'T forget comets even space probes (Voyager, Pioneer, Cassini, etc.)

When I did mine in 8th grade I forgot about comets and I ended up with a 'C'. I was mad.

Here's a perfect web-site that lists just about everything (except comets and asteroids).

http://space.jpl.nasa.gov/

.
you want to make this project or it was assigned to you...??
