Why use solar cells?

Question:
i have heard to use solar cells but they aren't major reasons

Answer:
Solar cells (more properly called photo-voltaic cells or PV cells for short) produce electricity in sunlight.

Why use them? Because they produce electricity without generating any pollution. They can last over 30 years and have no moving parts to wear out.

I have 16 of them and get 90% of my power from them exclusively.
Solar cells have had a high capital cost (meaning they cost a llot to purchase and install), but produce "free" electricity after that. As the cost comes down, solar cells are becoming compelling
so gas dosnt eat up our ozone lair and cause cancer due to patches in the ozone layer that lets through uv light rays
they generate electricity without moving parts and no maintenance. no ozone depletion no worries
