I saw an ad for a solar powered air conditioner that hangs on the car window.?
Question:
Answer:
It's not an air conditioner, It's a solar powered fan that ventilates hot, stagnate air out of your car. they cost about 20 bucks.
Yes you did. ( I hope thats the right answer )
does it rain a lot in your area? what's an inch wide gap in your window gonna do for your interior when it rains?
Save your money, How is something that blows 95 degree air into a 110 degree car going to cool it down 35 degrees....?
Yeah I saw the ad for that too.By the way to the perosn who asked if it rains alot it comes with a water proof thing you put on your window that keeps rain out.
I saw it to, and I have never seen it again. And NO it doesnt leave a gap in your window... Id like to check that out to. If I see it again I will post it for you and you do me to please. And I hope it really works.

it can't lower the temperature of the car lower than the ambient outside temp. It may be able to keep the car from getting like an oven.
If it works, please let me know.
I answered this question before,,it`s really not a good idea..

I have a bridge for sale.
You can park under it and your car will be out of the sun and much cooler.
Here's what happened when a news station tested it. Check out this link:

wow you had a Ase certified tech answer and fifty other people that are taking a stab at it.
I own one, and let me tell you greatest invention ever..well it was a good idea...
First of all it leaves a small crack in your window enough for some water to get in
Second its solar powered so your at the mercy of the sun, it has no battery the sun stops and so dose it
It blows air out of the car and is not powerful at all if the solar panel is dirty it will barely spin
The worst thing of all DOSE NOT WORK WITH TINTED WINDOWS in the brightest sun NOTHING
And finally did i feel a difference in temp??
Not at all, its a cool device but it doesn't work
Hope that helps
