Answer:
I love the idea, very unique. If you are going to get it that small, or did you mean inches, you will lose all detail, it will just look like a bunch of dots on your shoulder. A tattoo on your shoulder blade needs to be fairly substantial in size, or it will look strange on such a large background, if you want it that small, get it done on the nape of your neck. Go for it tho, i can just about guarantee, your artist will have never done it before, im sure someone in the world has a similar one, but your never going to meet them, so its very likely that you will be the only one you and the people you know, know of.
if astronomy is something that you are very passoniate about then it is something you should definitely do!
:]
sounds cute and unique. go for it. make sure it's a clean tatoo place. tell them you want to WATCH when they unpackage a fresh needle before working on you. that is important due to the hepatitis risk. good luck!
i think it is 2 waird but that is me so see wut the other people say dont just count on me
Go for it sounds interesting
Shandi, it doesn't matter what we like, as long as you like it then get it.
As long as you have really thought about it and you are sure, then go for it! I think it will look great on you!
I love the idea. It's unique and you won't run into anyone with the same tattoo. Go for it.
I think it's cool and since you love it so much you should do it that's what I think that tatoos should be about something that you really like or you relly love or care about and since you like astronomy you should do it!!!!!
Please before you run out to the nearest tattoo parlor and sit down.please go out there and look at the tattoo artist portfolio, don't just go the nearest parlor. Look at the artist's work, find an artist who can put artwork on the body correctly. Someone who can work with you and where you want to put it on your body. Don't go to a scratcher, someone who has a setup in their garage. Pay the extra money to get something that is going to look good, and last.
Just remember that their will be times, when you want to wear a tank, or go to the beach and just have your trunks on. Your young now, but you will be old, and if you ever come into money, tattoo's don't go very far.
I like astronomy as well. The only problem is that if you make a solar system that small people won't know what it is. Maybe you should put something else that represents astronomy (like an picture of a cartoony star or saturn with it's rings).
you may be disapointed in regards to the colors your artist may want/need to go with. Alot of black with white stars will look like a big blur down the road. they will tend to use dark and light blues with some white but mostly yellow for the stars and such. the planets won't be a problem really. just dont expect it to look like a picture of our solar system per se.
Remember: a tat is an expression of something inside you. No one else matters. I'm thinking tat something you love (except a girl's name) and you should be fine.
Sounds unique, And if your into it that means it will be meaningful...Go for it!
Go for it. The only thing that has to happen is you like it. Who cares what anyone else thinks.
But it does sound good. Good Luck
IF IT IS SOMETHING YOU LOVE THEN YEA GO FOR IT BUT ALWAYS REMEMBER IT IS FOREVER WILL YOU STILL LIKE THAT STUFF IN 20 YEARS JUST GIVE IT THOUGHT. I EVEN HAD ONE PUT ON THAT WAS A TEMP. AND IN ABOUT 8 DAYS I WAS SICK OF IT SO YOU CAN GO THAT ROUTE SEE HOW YOU LIKE IT.
With the right artist, that could be a really really beautiful tattoo. Have a tattoo artist draw it up for you. I think that's a really great idea, very original.
it doesn't matter if other people like it, it is your body and your body art. i think it is a really cool idea though, ytou don't see many of that
Hey, the more unique tattoo, the better. Who wants another barb wire or butterfly?
If it means something to you, then it's a good tattoo. The size concerns me though - each element of the solar system (planet, star, ring, cloud, etc) has great detail. You will lose all that detail if it's only going to be 5cm (about 2inches, right?)
I think 5 inches (about 12cm) is a much more reasonable size for something as beautiful and detailed as the solar system. You might have a hard time finding an artist willing to do it that small.
