We could say that the central of our solar system is the sun. Does the universe have a central at all?
Question:
Answer:
that depends on weather the universe is finite or infinite. one argument says that the fact that the stars arent colapsing in on each other implies that there must be equal mass acting on all sides of them, so that there is no gravitational force acting on them. this couldn't be possible in a finite universe because the stars on the outer edge of the universe would only have mass on one side of them, so the universe would collapse in on itself. so i guess my answer is no
The center of any existence is the center of all awareness, since without awareness, nothing exists...
...and back to my pile of chocolate...
well i think there isa picture that is the "furthest" one taken.. its very strange
the Universe has a center, but it's not necessarily a star or a celestial body. It could be a point in space.
IF there is one, its' always changing because the universe is always changing.
We may not be having full information but there should be a centre for the univese lso.
as the universe is presumed to stretch to infinity, any point in space could be center because the distances in all directions from that certain point are equal (infinity to the left, to the right etc)
Based on current principles, there is no such thing as the centre of our Universe (or the one that we currently know of). See the link below for more detailed explanations.
We don't know yet the exactly size of the Universe in order to point its center. We do have a better knowledge about our galaxy but our galaxy seems to be only one between an unknowing numbers of others.
You may go to NASA.com,and check this out.My sister works for NASA and you should see the pictures send back by the Hubble Telescope. There Awesome!! In answering your question,Man has not discover the center of the Universe, yet, but we are working on it!Peace!
u know, we have been taught that universe is 13(or 14) billion years old. That means, that the light of the farthest star that we can see was that one which started 13(or 14) b.y. ago and has reached us now. so for us to know what is the center we must have a really recent picture, which means everypart should be photographed as it is right now, which is not possible. so no one can say what the central is , of the universe...
Universe doesnt have any centre
