Cellists, do you have a slight bruise beneath your solar plexus from the cello?

o my gosh! yes! one day i was done practicing and i was like what the heck is on my leg! SO when i go to symphony and stuff i try to wear capris or jeans. how long have you been playing cello? me: 3 1/2 years. i played guitar before and guitar teacher would tell me to tap my feet. now i have an emense problem with tapping my feet. i get so focused on my feet that i play wrong notes! cello really is the most beautiful sounding instrument. not too high like violin, not to low like bass. you got me really excited! to the person above who plays three hours a day: probably because you wear pants and capris not shorts.
no, never and i practise at least 3 hours a day

hey, my sister has told me about her guy cello friends having those too.
it's cool. violinists have to answer people asking them questions like "hey, did you get a hickey on your neck?" and all that.
at least random people can't see it... :)
