What is Solar Power how does it work, what is it's benefits and drawbacks, how was it discovered ,how is it used

Question:

Answer:
Okay how it works: What happens is the UV rays are absorbed by the black panels. That energy is then transferred into usable energy that is then sent through a series of wires in a solar panel. Those wires lead to a huge battery where the energy is stored until needed.

How lights connected to solar panels work. The lights are connected as well to this battery on steroids. This high-tech battery can be set to a timer that then can send electricity out to lights, decorative lawn ornaments, furnaces etc.

Its benefits,

-Helps save the earth a little fossil fuel at a time.
-no emissions
-over time can save money.
-renewable resource
-You can never forget to pay the electricity bill
-creates a good topic of discussion and will get more people in on saving the earth

drawbacks:
-Expensive to buy. up to 300 dollars a panal, not to mention the battery and hook up charges. However, it will save you money in the long run. (For my family ours will start saving us money in 7 years.

-Not the best fashion statement for houses. although architects are always willing to help u design an awesome house around the oddity of solar panals.

-easily vandalized.

It is also often used for an electricity source, heating, cooling, basically any thing that needs power.

Hope this helped!
idk how it works but it is good cause there is almost always sunlight and usually clouds don't block the rays of the sun. and it obviously is a renewable resource and the drawbacks are you need alot of of solar panels to get enough power to run a normal home and they are expensive
Solar power is any power derived from the direct radiation of sunlight. There are two kinds:
- Thermal power, used for heating air or water, trapped by a black box with a transparent cover containing tubes for a working fluid.
- Photoelectric power, generated by photovoltaic cells. These are usually specially treated silicon, arranged so that photons knock electrons out of the ground state, such that the electons need to return thereto by passing through an external circuit and doing work. Photovoltaic power plants cost about $10 per watt (installation not included), allocated: $5 for the cell, $4 for the battery plant (if used), $1 for inverter and control equipment. One watt worth of solar cell capacity can produce about 2000 watt-hours of power per year if it is optimally aimed and there are no clouds.
