Explain how solar energy causes water to cycle through the major earths reservoirs (land,water,air,enviornme...

Question:

Answer:
Solar energy or simple sunlight heats and evaporates water, a lot from the seas, some from the water bodies in land (lakes and rivers - but usually when you talk about water cycle you tend to omit the land based evaporation as it is relatively little compared to the sea - our planet is covered with more than 2/3rd - i guess - of sea than the land, the water bodies in land are pretty much less), plants (forests and farms to be specific). All evaporated water ends up in the air as moisture, some going high enough to form clouds. Whenever these things cools down, they pour down as rain (clouds) or simply dew (plain moisture in the air, in the night). Rains usually gather to make little streams or big rivers, filling the lakes and ponds, some even flowing back to the sea. And some of these water is also absorbed and kept by plants.

And the cycle repeats. To be specific, we don't necessarily call plants/trees as water reservoirs, I think.
Do not buy gas today!!!
The ecosystem for water in the environment varies greatly depending on what system you want to define, ocean, sea, river, desert, rain forest, swamp, city, etc. Even the definition of resevoir varies and solar energy effects each in very different manners. GL
