Are there planets outside the solar system?

Question:
How can we tell given the new definition of planet? We can determine if it orbits a star and estimate its mass. How do we know it has cleared its orbit? It not a good day to be an astronomer.

Answer:
um, it's always a good day to be an astronomer. And yes there are planets outside the solar system. the universe doesn't give a sh** how we define things.
go and explore the solar system and how come and tell me your answer
Yes, get over it!
it depends upon the definition of the solar system - what is its range?

also depends upon the definition of a planet.

there is no unique answer that does not depend upon opinion

definitions extablished by a majority can work temporarily - but the majority is sometimes wrong when time passes
Of course. Why wouldn't there be? The sun is a typical star.
ya the closes sun has a planet and it has a bright red ring around the planet no atmosphere the rest are jus plane.
I am guessing yes there are planets outside of the solar system. A way to tell there is a planet is because of the mass and the gravity would be aventually pulling the ship torward it.
