Pluto is no more is a planet. What are the other (new)planets in the Solar System?

Question:
What are the two(as far as I know)included planets in our Solar System?& when & by whom they were discovered? Please hurry.I need it for my General knowledge quiz competetion. Please HELP!

Answer:
There are only eight true planets. However, there are three celestial bodies with the new designation of "dwarf planets." These are Pluto, Ceres and Eris.

Ceres was discovered on January 1, 1801, by Giuseppe Piazzi.

Eris was discovered by the team of Mike Brown, Chad Trujillo, and David Rabinowitz on January 5, 2005, from images taken on October 21, 2003.

Contrary to the opinion expressed below me, there is no legitimate reason to classify Pluto as a planet. He is basing his opinion on the simple fact that Pluto was considered a planet in the past. In fact, Eris is larger than Pluto, and is more deserving of the designation than Pluto is.
Pluto is still a planet! They just gave it a new name: it's now a dwarf planet. It still revolves around the Sun like it always did.
unfortunately, I can't help you with the two new planets.
Oh no, dear, Pluto IS still a planet, and shall be one long after these nut-cakes of astronomers are gone. They are just out to make a name for themselves as the ones to call a planet not a planet because they have nothing better to do.

Our nine planets are these:
Mercury,
Venus,
earth,
Mars,
Jupiter,
Saturn,
Uranus,
Neptune, and
Pluto.

And that's all. Some claim that there's some large mass floating around beyond due to the awkward orbiting path of Pluto.
