solar system comprises of Nine planets but now there are only eight .pl explain in detail.

Answer:
Read the news, you lazy.
yes they voted it as a dwarf plant. It seems to be as large as ours. But there are 4 dwarf planets and 8 planets.
Open a paper.oh lazy one
So the people that decided can keep their jobs ..
From 1930 to 2006, the system was comprised of nine official planets, but Pluto's status was changed to that of a "dwarf planet" on August 24, 2006 by the IAU, thus reducing the membership of the solar system to the eight classical planets.
Because Pluto is deemed as being made of wholly ice and for a mass to be termed a "Planet" it must be formed from rock. SO bye bye Pluto...
too small...smaller than our moon.
It hasn't been removed... it's still considered a planet... but a dwarf planet or something or other. Other astrologists think its actually part of a bigger asteroid field surrounding our solar system. Hence why there are considerations for adding planets X, XI, and XII... or something like that. well, heard from the news earlier today that the scientists decided that pluto doesnt have the qualities of a true planet. i was like "so what's the definition of a true planet?"? they said that the would release the updated version of the definition in a matter of days or weeks, so we'll just have to wait. ;)
only god can accomplish this one. just goes to show where our tax money is being spent. abolish nasa and use the money wasted to make our world a better place.
They destroyed it to build a highway.
Since the IAU has changed the definition of "Planet".
Pluto is now a dwarf planet.
because it doesn't have the planet characteristics stuff and also It has the thiness atmosphere too.
pluto goes off track and isn't very important.
Dude...you HAVE to get out more.
Well Pluto is the only planet in the solar system that does not orbit the sun. Whilst all the other planets go around the sun Pluto travels horizontally around the sun compared to all the other planets. Pluto is also considered to cold and to small to be considered an actual planet in out solar system, it is now considered a dwarf planet.
pluto does'nt satisfy the new planet rules. hence it has been eliminated as a plutonium object.
Pluto? i don't think that it had been removed.
pluto is a good dog! stupid you
they said there was not enough of a gravity to the ex-planet I think that is ridiculous myself!!
