We lost a planet (Pluto) yesterday. Try reading the news on a DAILY basis instead of once a week.
Actually, as of yesterday, we have fewer planets since poor Pluto got the ax. The rest of the junk spinning around out of control in our solar system is not very likely to be a problem...

Our solar system is getting more and more planets. They were simply always there (Or at least long before humans existed) It's just that we have a new name for them now.

I have to tell you, so that way you have a fighting chance. Our Solar System is not getting more and more planets, it's really Alien ships from another Solar System in disguise. Disguise as, planets.
